Everything your windows need

Book one service or the full package. Most homeowners get interior, exterior, tracks, and screens done in the same visit.

Exterior Window Cleaning

Every pane on every floor, cleaned with water-fed poles, a traditional squeegee and soap, or a combination of both, depending on the window.

Interior Window Cleaning

Cleaned the traditional way with a squeegee and window-cleaning soap. Shoe covers on, furniture moved carefully and put back.

Track & Sill Cleaning

Sand, grit, and salt cleared out of tracks and sills so windows and sliders open smoothly.

Screen Cleaning

Screens removed, washed, and reinstalled, so clean glass isn’t viewed through a dirty screen.

Screen Repair

Torn or damaged screens fixed and returned to service before the summer season.

Glass Restoration

Hard-water spots, salt film, and old adhesive removed so the glass looks new again.

Hardware Replacement

Worn latches, rollers, and window hardware replaced so everything opens and locks properly.

Gutter Cleaning

Gutters cleared to protect siding, trim, and the windows beneath them.

Built for the shore

Salt air and sand are hard on glass

Homes near the ocean collect a salty film and wind-blown grit much faster than homes inland. Left alone, that film dulls the view and can make glass harder to clean over time.

We remove it fully without harsh chemicals that can etch glass or damage trim, and we clear the sand out of tracks before we clean so nothing gets scratched.

How water-fed and traditional cleaning differ →

  • Owner on every jobAn owner is present at every job, with uniformed, clean-cut, smoke-free technicians.
  • Tall and hard-to-reach glassThree and four-story homes, transoms, and walls of sliders, reached safely with water-fed poles and ladders.
  • Inspection before we startWe point out any existing screen damage or scratched glass before any work begins.
  • Respect for your homeShoe covers indoors, and furniture moved carefully and put back where it was.
How we clean

Water-fed vs. traditional window cleaning

We use two proven methods, and often both on the same house. Here’s how each one works and when we use it.

Exterior

Water-fed pole

How it works: A long, lightweight pole with a soft brush on the end. Tap water runs through filters that strip out every mineral, so what reaches the glass is pure water. We scrub the glass and frames with the brush, rinse with pure water, and let it air-dry. With nothing left in the water, there’s nothing to leave spots behind.

  • Best for upper floors, tall and hard-to-reach glass, and large homes
  • Safer because most of the work happens from the ground, with no ladders against your siding or in your landscaping
  • Cleans frames and sills along with the glass, which helps with salt film at the shore
Interior & exterior

Traditional squeegee and soap

How it works: We wet the glass with a scrubber and window-cleaning soap to loosen dirt, pull it off with a squeegee, and detail the edges with a lint-free towel. It’s the classic, hands-on way to get a crisp, streak-free finish.

  • Always used for interiors, where water-fed systems can’t be used
  • Best for detail work: divided-light windows, ground-floor glass, and glass doors
  • Removes stubborn buildup like old tape, stickers, and paint specks that need hands-on attention
Often, it’s both. On a typical shore home we use water-fed poles for the upper floors and squeegee and soap for the ground floor, the interiors, and any glass that needs detail work. We choose the method window by window, based on height, access, and the condition of the glass.

Questions

Residential FAQ

How often should windows be cleaned at the shore?

Twice a year works well for most shore homes: once in spring and once in fall. Ocean-facing glass collects salt film faster, so some homeowners add a visit midsummer. Our six-month care plan handles the scheduling for you.

Do you clean inside and outside?

Yes. We clean interior and exterior glass, plus tracks, sills, and screens. You can book any combination.

Can you reach third and fourth-story windows?

Yes. We use water-fed poles and ladders to reach upper floors safely, including transoms and tall walls of glass.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Owen Window Care is licensed, bonded, and insured, NJ Home Improvement Contractor #13VH13855100.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. Every job comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a 7-day rain guarantee. If rain spots your freshly cleaned exterior glass within 7 days, let us know and we’ll come back.

Who will be in my home?

An owner is present at every job. Our technicians are uniformed, clean-cut, and smoke-free, and they wear shoe covers indoors.

How do I get a price?

Request a free estimate online or call or text us. Pricing depends on the number and size of windows, how many floors, and which services you want.
